Invitro,endotoxincausesavarietyofproblemsincell-basedresearch.Invivo,endotoxinmaycausevarioussideeffects,includinginflammatoryresponse,organfailureorsepticshockinhostorganisms.PresenceofendotoxininanyofthesehasadetrimentaleffectonculturingofcellsandcanleadtogenerationofirreproducIBLeornegativeexperimentaldata.Therefore,itiscriticaltoremoveendotoxinfromsamplesandproducts.EndotoxinRapidRemovalAgarosecanquicklyandeffectivelyeliminateendotoxinsto<0.05EU/mlinsolutionscontainingproteinsorpharmacologicallyimportantcomponentsviatheimmobilizedpolymyxinB,whichisknownforcapturingendotoxinandpreventingtoxiceffects.
