TBS / Tween20 10X Solution is used as a wash solution for western blot membranes and microtiter plate wells in ELISA assays. It is an optimal formulation of pH stabilizers, salts and detergents as it removes excess material from the microtiter plate wells without disrupting the ELISA binding reaction. By doing so, unbound components can be washed away without suppressing antigen-antibody binding interactions, thereby increasing the specific signal.
