USE
5-Methylcytidine has been found in mouse liver emulsion and has been shown to inhibit the growth of spontaneous tumors originating in the mammary gland. It is a nucleosides that, using liquid chromatography and ion trap mass spectrometry coupling, can be used as biomedical marker. It is used in studies of DNA methylation processes (epigenetics).
