USE
Tris base has been used in the dissection medium and culture medium of Hippocampal organotypic tissue cultures. It is a component of lysis buffer which is used before immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting, and a component of NuPAGE loading buffer for SDS-PAGE and as a component of transfer buffer for Western blotting.Tris buffer solutions are widely used in cell and molecular biology for processes such as protein and nucleic acid extraction and purification. Trizma based buffers are also in column chromatography and in gel electrophoresis.
